GVM Upgrade Approvals

We are dedicated to ensuring that all of our GVM upgrades meet the necessary requirements and regulations. That's why we only provide approvals for vehicles that meet the Transport and Main Roads Queensland Code of Practice for the LS11 Code and all relevant referred codes and regulations. It's also important to us that all vehicles are in a roadworthy format before we perform any upgrades.

In order to qualify for a GVM upgrade, vehicles must be modified with upgraded suspension kits and meet the required GVM engineering standards. Once the approval process is completed, the vehicle can be loaded to its new GVM level. It's important to note that under current rules, an increase in GVM does not increase the factory GCM (Gross Combination Mass) rating for in-service vehicles.

At Dr Tim's Auto Engineering, we are committed to helping our customers get the most out of their vehicles. Contact us today to learn more about our GVM upgrade services and how we can help you.
