Tim Bartrop has been practising as an automotive engineer for over 40 years. He is a TMR Approved Person, a National Heavy Vehicle Regulator Approved Vehicle Examiner and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland. In 2013, Dr Tims Auto Engineering was established to formalise the engineering identity as a business separate to other activities. In June 2022, Dr Tims Auto Engineering acquired dedicated premises at Unit 3/14 Timms Court Woodridge. We are mobile and attend many jobs at customers’ locations but also have all the tools and equipment at Timms Court for ease of operation and for the comfort of our customers in our waiting area.

We have now added Motorhome GVM rerating to the group of work that we perform. Dr Tims also now does ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) upgrades for trailers and caravans. It is common for owners to need vehicle GVM upgrades and caravan ATM upgrades at the same time to satisfy the needs of growing family requirements and long distance travel plans.
